Found this shop through family. Dropped off my vehicle on Tuesday morning received a call /quote around 2 pm same day. Ozzy, the service manager, explained the quote in detail. vehicle repair was finished Wednesday at 3pm. Outstanding service! Not the cheapest price in town but a fair price. Established shop with long history of quality and competent work. The kind of place you can send your wife or daughter without fear of them getting ripped off. I definitely recommend it.

What a relief to find Austin at A&W Automotive. After having multiple bad experiences with a local dealership, being overcharged and having issues with my vehicle after almost every service.. it’s great to have an honest shop to take your car to. We’ll never go anywhere else!

I’ve been taking my Tacoma to A&W for about a year now to “fix it up”. I always get treated courteously and kindly. Any & all questions answered w/ a smile. Repairs get taken care of quickly & efficiently. I will always go back and highly recommend this establishment. Great people.

I can’t say enough about the great service I received at A&W Automotive. Everyone was so kind and professional, especially Austin the owner. I told my husband about the great service I received there and he said he would be taking his Toyota there for his next service. A wonderful experience from the beginning from getting the vehicle scheduled, and the actual repair. This has been the best mechanic shop experience I’ve had in El Paso, after dealing with other shops in past years. I am thankful to finally find a trustworthy shop to take my vehicle to.

Incredible experience with A&W!!. Had an issue with a wheel bearing issue and ABS on my Tundra during a cross country move while passing through El Paso. Both Toyota dealerships in town couldn’t help. A&W dropped everything to get me a quick appointment, get my truck on the lift, diagnosed the issue, and service my vehicle to get me back on the road. Best service I’ve experienced!

I haven't even dropped off my car yet but can I just praise Ozzie/Ozzy? He took so much of his time on Friday to talk about my extensive repair issues with me on the phone (transmission, AC compressor, and suspension on 16 y.o Lexus GX). Even with a ton of stuff going on, he was focused and patient. As a woman traveling solo, I almost never get mechanics speaking to me as though I'm an intelligent human capable of understanding the specs. I felt so respected right away, it's such a relief. It was 100% green flags from the first hello. Then he went into the office on a Saturday just to finish my quote estimate -- which seemed fair, neither low nor high -- and call me back. Even though they're closed! I've never felt so comfortable with a shop before, I have 0 stress about dropping off my car now. I really hope the owners know what a treasure they have working their phones! FWIW this shop was also recommended to me by Mike, the owner of Elite Auto, who didn't have time to help me. He said if he couldn't work on his own cars, he'd take them here and it's the only place in town he would personally trust. That's always a good sign when peers have respect! I'll update this review after work is completed.
